Notes
General:
He was 8 months old when his father died 1/30/1888.

A swashbuckling story is: that he ran away from home at age 14?, sailed the seven seas and came to America to visit his brother Harry.

How did he know when and how his brother came in America? And where, when and how did they connect?

We have no info about him from the time of the 1901 England census (at age 14) until his marriage in Feb 1911 at age 24.

In the 1920 U.S. census he claims to have immigrated in 1908 at age 21 or the 1930 census says 1910 at age 23.
